A legal-accountability-focused nonprofit working to protect Wisconsin communities from unfair cost burdens.

Mission

We empower Wisconsin communities to pursue environmental justice by supporting lawful accountability efforts that ensure the financial costs of environmental harm are borne by responsible parties — not local taxpayers — strengthening local governments and protecting community well-being for generations to come.

Vision

​A Wisconsin where communities, economies, and ecosystems thrive because accountability under the law ensures that environmental costs are addressed responsibly, local governments are financially stable, and communities are protected for future generations.
